@Eryk Kulikowski I assume you're working from within a university network. Could you send that network address (not just your computers IP) in CIDR notation to @Don Sizemore so he can add that range to be excluded from fail2ban and you can access the Jenkins test logs yourself?
I have sent the question to our IT helpdesk, it will probably take some time to get the answer. This will make my work easier, once it is set up. Thanks!
It's likely https://ipinfo.io/AS2611/134.58.0.0/16
Looked up rdr.kuleuven.be and continued from there :wink:
If @Don Sizemore wants a more specific subnet than all of KU Leuven, you can look that up from your computer and compare with the subnet list. And maybe see which IPs are used when accessing via VPN - those are usually different.
Hi. I have asked our IT department, and they have told me that these are the possible network ranges for ipv4: 134.58.253.0/26
and for ipv6: 2a02:2c40::/40 or 2a02:2c40:100::/40 or 2a02:2c40:200::/40 or 2a02:2c40:500::/40
@Don Sizemore
The tests on one of my pull requests are failing again. I could not yet see the jenkins output. I will run them locally, but being able to see the output from jenkins would make it easier for me.

absolutely. if you could send me an ipv4 range you'd like allowed in as secure a fashion as you're comfortable, i'll allow you to Jenkins? it used to be a read-only, public installation, but even with fail2ban and other restrictions the bots were just too much.

@Eryk Kulikowski do you have access now? Are you all set?

I'm afraid he isn't yet, because I didn't get/see the notification (sorry). I'll allow the above range this morning.
Done. Try it now?
Philip Durbin has marked this topic as resolved.
