Topic: metadata mapping in schema.org json-ld format

Hi! I've got a question about the metadata mapping of the funding information in the export format Schema.org JSON-LD.
According to the Dataverse metadata crosswalk the funding agency is already included in this export format but the grant identifier isn't. As far as I can see the Schema.org property "funding" would be quite well-suited for this (https://schema.org/funding). Are there any plans to include this metadata field in the schema.org json-ld metadata export in one of the following Dataverse releases? And if not, is there any documentation on how we might be able to configure the metadata mapping by ourselves to include it?

@Katharina Brückmann hi! Good question. Probably it was an oversight to not include the grant number or we weren't sure where to put it. You are very welcome to create an issue about this at https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues (@Julian Gautier has been working on some issues related to funding, such as this one... Spike: Investigate how Dataverse stakeholders and users need to collect and use funder metadata #4859 ... but I'm not sure about this particular idea).

As for configuring this yourselves, as of Dataverse 5.14 you can configure a new exporter or override an existing one. I haven't played with this myself but please see https://github.com/gdcc/dataverse-exporters and https://guides.dataverse.org/en/6.1/developers/metadataexport.html
