Hello, the documentation talks about groups to which roles can be assigned. I can't find a way to create groups or assign people to them. What are user groups?

Hi @Lennard Golsch , You can create and modify groups from the Dataverse Community "Edit" menu. You need admin privileges in the community to do it.

When you create a group and assign specific roles to users into the selected Dataverse Community (create datasets / modify datsets,...)

Ah, thank you. I overlooked that, thank you very much. The groups then only refer to the respective (sub) dataverse, right?

I think that the groups are not inherited by the sub dataverses, but I am not sure.
And I have forgot that you can also give permissions to a group by the Menu "Edit Dataset"->Permissions->Dataset into a dataset.
