Currently we have datasets being in publishing state (finalizePublication locked) for several days. I have read the troubleshooting guide and wonder if we can remove the lock without restarting server, or if it is suggested to restart server before removing lock.

I don't check for long lasting locks nowadays but @Sonia Barbosa sometimes reports them and she or another colleagues unlocks them, I imagine using the same API endpoint
