I am having trouble with my Permalink PID setup again. Due to historic reasons (https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/10564 ) I have a legacy provider and a new permalink provider set up as follows:
{
"status": "OK",
"data": {
"perma1": {
"id": "perma1",
"label": "PermaLink",
"protocol": "perma",
"authority": "thz",
"separator": "/",
"shoulder": "ds-",
"identifierGenerationStyle": "randomString",
"datafilePidFormat": "DEPENDENT",
"managedSet": "",
"excludedSet": ""
},
"legacy": {
"id": "legacy",
"label": "legacy",
"protocol": "perma",
"authority": "thz-",
"separator": "",
"shoulder": "ds-",
"identifierGenerationStyle": "random",
"datafilePidFormat": "DEPENDENT",
"managedSet": "",
"excludedSet": ""
}
}
}
On Dataverse 6.2 this worked fine, but somewhere during the Update to 6.6, the links pointing to datasets as well as in citation suggestion do not contain the "/" anymore:
https://my.dataverse.de/citation?persistentId=perma:thzds-FOOBAR
instead of
https://my.dataverse.de/citation?persistentId=perma:thz/ds-FOOBAR
When I add the slash to the URL manually I can still access the dataset, but all links used in the interface do not work. Does anyone have an Idea what is going wrong here?
Right. The shoulder. Hmm.
@Henning Timm would you be able to post to https://groups.google.com/g/dataverse-community as well?
Thanks for posting https://groups.google.com/g/dataverse-community/c/cridEK9FDds/m/3n28-YM8AAAJ !
I see Jim replied already.
