Topic: Can't hide metadata field 'Producer'

Hi all,

One of our users would like to hide the 'Producer' field from the Citation block for their collection.
However, it seems that it is not possible. See the attached screenshot, the checkbox is greyed out and we are unable to edit. Is this intentional, or a bug?

Hmm, this sure looks a lot like the issue @Julian Gautier opened and @Sherry Lake commented on: Dataverse collection managers can't hide the Producer metadata field, and possibly any field with a child field that's conditionally required #8690

Yep.. un-intentional consequence of "conditionally required".

Oh, there was a Github issue already. Should have taken a look there first. I will try to put it on our 'To do' list (DataverseNL). Not sure if we have time to fix it soon.
