@Philip Durbin 馃殌 yes, that sounds great! I just got the confirmation from my supervisor today and I'll definitely join the DMC 26 in person :dataverse_man:

I just heard we should be able to have a hybrid meeting.

Hey everyone. Just passing along more info about the satellite meetings during this year's Dataverse Community Meeting that Dataverse working groups can use for meeting.

Working group leads interested in meeting in-person and online on May 12 can use the DCM2026 registration form to request a meeting for the working group.

On the registration form, WG leads will need to include a list of in-person attendees, who won't be let in if they haven't registered and aren't on the list, and are responsible for letting group members know about the May 12 meeting and for any marketing for new members.

@Julian Gautier thanks for sharing! Is it possible to add in-person attendees after registration?

Oh, hmmm. I would this so. I'll ask Felipe now in another Zulip channel

@Julian Gautier thanks for asking: #community > #Dataverse2026 @ 馃挰

Felipe answered in that channel, too :+1:

Thanks @Philip Durbin 馃殌 !

Sure. I picked an arbitrary time. We'll have to update it once we know more.

Hi @Jan Range and pyDataverse WG!
Philip has shared the preliminary program for the Satellite Meetings here:
#containers > Containerization wg at DCM 2026 in Barcelona @ 馃挰

In order to make the meeting official and ensure the logistics are finalized, @Jan Range could you please send a quick confirmation email to the technical secretariat at dcm2026@bcocongresos.com ?

This will help us lock in the room requirements and technical needs at the BSC.
Hope to see you soon in Barcelona!

Hi, I have registered for the meeting in dcm2026, should we expect to receive an update about the venue and time? :eyes:

@KL (and everyone), all the details are in this PDF: Satellite_logistics_DCM2026.pdf

You were at UNC, right? Looking forward to seeing you again, but not at this meeting, since I unfortunately have a conflict! :doh:
