Topic: fast redeploy with VS Code (#10156)

@Balázs Pataki is fast redeploy still working for you? If memory serves it stopped working for you on IntelliJ. Then it stopped working for me on Netbeans. They my computer got wiped. I'm thinking about trying to get it working on VS Code (#10156).

Yes, it didn't really work after some IntelliJ updates - a plugin I used became incompatible. I haven't worked much on the Dataverse code these months so I didn't really need it, but should fix it or come up with a new way to do it.

Any interest in trying to get it working with VS Code?

I never worked in VS Code with Java ... But I know all the good AI coding agents are there :-)

Ok. I think @Eryk Kulikowski got it working.

@Eryk Kulikowski I tried to deploy to Docker but I got an error. Details in this commit: https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/10156#issuecomment-3432411553

Any luck? Is it working for you?

I opened this bug: https://github.com/payara/ecosystem-support/issues/99

And I added some more notes: https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/commit/22366cb4853951ea451efc9a4cdceff28fcd0ee2

Still not working but at least the "connect" button in VS Code works. It can connect to the instance of Payara in our containers.
