WRT IntelliJ: I haven't tried this, so take it with a grain of salt. The "Save Actions" plugin was discontinued because there is now a builtin feature for this. https://www.jetbrains.com/guide/go/tips/run-actions-on-save/

You can run a deployment on save (not shown in the screenshot). That should allow us to automatically copy files from a folder to some other container-mounted folder.

I confirmed that fast redeploy with IntelliJ is still working.

I made a PR to tweak the docs a bit: #11925 (thanks for looking @Balázs Pataki!)
