Hi team,
I'm having trouble starting the platform on my main machine (Windows). Until last week, everything was working fine on my local branch, although I hadn't updated it in quite some time. I had to switch branches to run some tests, so I took the opportunity to update the repository. Since then, I haven't been able to get the platform running on any branch, even when trying to revert to a previous commit. A teammate has been helping me, but we haven't been able to pinpoint the issue.
I've made sure to clean everything up (deleted containers and images, updated Docker, etc.) and tried a fresh setup from scratch, but it still doesn't work. When I run docker-compose up, I can see the usual Payara page for a while, but eventually, I always end up with the "Page Not Found" error from Dataverse or a generic error saying the site can't be reached.
I also followed the steps outlined in the Windows Developer Guide, including installing jq and configuring Git to use LF for line endings, but the problem persists.
I'd really appreciate any help or suggestions to resolve this issue. Thanks in advance!

Hmm, I don't have access to a Windows box myself but like I said at standup, Jim uses one.
Also, @Victoria Lubitch wrote up those steps (thanks!) and might have some ideas for you.
@Juan Pablo Tosca Villanueva you're also on Windows, right? Any suggestions?
I am mostly on Mac nowadays :sweat_smile:
@Alexis Guanche to be clear, you're following https://preview.guides.gdcc.io/en/develop/developers/windows.html#running-dataverse-in-windows-wsl ?
Yes @Philip Durbin , I think I have followed all the instructions. The only difference is that the distribution I have been using in WSL is Debian. But I have checked Java version, WSL connection, payara, etc
Hmm, I know Ubuntu is derived from Debian so it should work but do you think you should try with Ubuntu?
I have changed the distribution and confirmed that docker is using the new one. But the problem persists and the error seems to be the same :sweat_smile:

@Alexis Guanche I added this problem to our #containers agenda if you'd like to talk about it in about an hour: https://docs.google.com/document/d/19cbZdZf8zGHisC8nWmuklC9W_prnW_mNYUEaIoz89IQ/edit?usp=sharing
