I just typed up a proposal to further the ways of how we can access the Admin API in containers, especially when in a K8s context with service-to-service communication. #11672

This is not at all limited to the Admin API and not even to a K8s auth provider - adding more "system-internal" IdPs that are enabling machine-to-machine communication, not selectable for normal users to login from, enable whole new level of integration. This may be interesting for you @Vera Clemens @Johannes D .
