Please see this post by @Ceilyn Boyd - Project to analyze and prioritize the Dataverse issue backlog - https://groups.google.com/g/dataverse-community/c/lDVJq-1CHLY/m/Vl824d8fAQAJ
Just a reminder about the backlog cleanup, particularly this, which might happen as soon as today:
"Closing issues in the Dataverse repository created before 2020-08-18, with a note."
Just wondering if issues should be closed as "not planned" instead of "completed" – I'm getting a lot of emails about issues being completed and it feels like magic has happened.
@Ceilyn Boyd feedback for v2 of your script ^^ :grinning:
Just replied to your question @Ben Companjen.
As per our work to analyze and prioritize the backlog, we're closing issues created before 2024-08-18 to focus on issues reported after version 5.0.
Folks, if you think that the closure of any issue happened in error (e.g., my script closed a bug that is still a problem, or a dearly wished for feature), please drop a note in the issue and we can reopen it.
Thanks!
Oh, wait! @Ben Companjen I completely misread your comment. My apologies! I'm not certain if I can retroactively change the reason on those issues. I'll look into it though.
