Just sent to https://groups.google.com/g/dataverse-community/c/ccdjQmFJH2Y/m/xN3pH5EXAgAJ
Around this time last year we started changing up the community calls a bit. We switched from every 2 weeks to every 4 weeks, for example.
Instead of having two calls in April we are planning to have the next call on Tuesday, May 28th (at the usual time, 10 Boston time). Yes, this is actually 8 weeks between calls. Sorry!
To prevent this situation in the future, we should probably switch to something like the first Tuesday of the month.
If we do this, the first Tuesday, I would suggest canceling the June call since it would only be a week after the previous call.
Any thoughts on this? To summarize here's what I'm proposing:
Sound good? Lemme know!
Thanks!
Phil

Just to check: today's community call (April 30th) is cancelled?
Yes, canceled!
Hmm, should I have sent another email?
I was just making sure I understood correctly, the agenda showed it and it was missing from the https://dataverse.org/community-calls page (maybe the next one should be added on that page to make it a bit clearer, as it's still pointing to the last call as the upcoming one)
I just sent a note that there is no call today: https://groups.google.com/g/dataverse-community/c/ccdjQmFJH2Y/m/hFznAmSKBQAJ
Sorry, which agenda showed it?
I'll go update https://dataverse.org/community-calls and add the next call.
The google calendar showed it as cancelled, that's where it became explicit to me that it was and made me look back to this message to see if I misunderstood initially.
Gotcha, I'm glad I added CANCELED there on the google calendar, at least.
Ok, I added this next agenda for May 28: https://docs.google.com/document/d/1PvnXpFxU2p4s_Y_dSraJRPDnGNAtI96QmSl7pxLlwPU/edit?usp=sharing
to https://dataverse.org/community-calls
It might take a few minutes to show up.
