Hello Community,

We are reviewing older feature requests in Dataverse Github and would like to know if there is an active interest in this support.

You can see the GitHub ticket here: https://github.com/IQSS/dataverse/issues/1592

Please chime in on Github as that is where we will make decisions.

Regards
Sonia

I just consolidated the two related Zulip topics about DCAT into this one. @Asbjørn Skødt I hope you don't mind!

I'm working on moving his repo to the gdcc org but I'm hitting a snag, getting a 404, like this: https://github.com/orgs/community/discussions/176383 :shrugdog:

I don't mind.
I would have liked to participate in the community call, but I could not with short notice.

As I understand it from the video presentation, the exporter-dcat3 is the way forward for the community.
@Sjaak Derksen I know this may be much to ask. Will you be available for a meeting with me to go over what we need to do to produce the compliant DCAT-AP-DK properties files? It is not as clear to me at the moment as I would like.

@Asbjørn Skødt No problem.. I be happy to.. I Just opened a PR to centralise the application profiles and it would be very nice to also have the DCAT-AP-DK in place..

Let me know what suits you? Since we are starting up the year, I've some time available today and tomorrow..

Great, thanks. we should have the same time zone. do you have time at 14-15 tomorrow?

view this post on Zulip Sjaak Derksen (Jan 08 2026 at 15:35):

I have a talk with my manager at 14:00. However.. I do have time from 15:00 onward. It's that ok for you as well?

view this post on Zulip Sjaak Derksen (Jan 08 2026 at 15:38):

I did merge my PR.. So, now there's a directory on top level called application_profiles containing a lightweight profile and my attempt at the dutch application profile. Next week I need to sit together with my colleagues to see if something is missing or should be done differently. So there will still be some changes. But I guess it's a starting point for you as well. I did also update the README.md files
