Hi there :rainbow:
An information about one very interesting breakout session on Wednesday, 13 November : Joint session: **Repository Platforms for Research Data IG**, Domain Repositories IG: Implementing and Facilitating Data Review in Data Repositories | Venue: Plaza de La Autonomía, Auditorium.
It is possible to attend on remote.
Hope see you soon there or online ;) :tropical_drink:
For those attending in person I also created a meetup in the planning/chatting app to have a small Dataverse Community Gathering there https://rdap23.events.whova.com/CommunityBoard/topic/2051598/24783265/.
Feel free to join!
@Dimitri Szabo I love the idea of community gatherings. Please see the p.s. here: https://groups.google.com/g/dataverse-community/c/huhI8TyE8a0/m/4ey2-TIlAAAJ
Actually I'll just paste it here:
p.s. Before the pandemic, I suggested* we list events we're attending on a spreadsheet so we can more easily find each other. Now that travel is happening again, I just cleaned up the spreadsheet and listed this event. You can find it linked from https://dataverse.org/events under the name "Dataverse Project-Related, Less Formal, and Community-Led Events (Dataverse Project Meetups)". Please feel free to add more events!
Great idea!
The link is comment only though :)
And actually, now that we have a GDCC site we can edit, maybe we should just add these gatherings there. Please feel free to open an issue at https://github.com/gdcc/www.gdcc.io/issues
@Dimitri Szabo yeah, please click "request access"
And let's see what @Philipp Conzett thinks. :grinning:
We had one at RDA's last plenary too it was very nice
We could even backfill historical gatherings. We had a nice one in Brussels in 2020 as a fringe event at FOSDEM.
@Amélie Fiocca @Dimitri Szabo I just gave you both edit access to the gatherings spreadsheet.
Thanks!
Thanks :)

Yes, sure, great idea! Should this be a new page and menu tab on the front page? We also should post more news on the News page! I see the last posting is from November 2023! :-/
With Dimitri we will attend the EOSC Symposium in Berlin, maybe some people here will go too ? :flag_european_union:
@Philipp Conzett I already opened an issue about the old news: https://github.com/gdcc/www.gdcc.io/issues/12 :grinning:
Looking good!
preaching the interoperable lifestyle :nerd:
