Hi everyone and especially folks managing Dataverse installations!
On April 15 I'll be hosting a webinar about how administrators of Dataverse repositories can customize Dataverse's dataset metadata form in order to improve how data and code are described, found and used.
If you manage a repository that uses the Dataverse software and would like to join the webinar, RSVP at https://support.dataverse.harvard.edu/event/introduction-metadata-dataverse-repositories-installation-administrators.
Lastly, the RSVP form includes a question about NIH grant funding, which we added because a lot work on Dataverse is funded by the NIH, and certain stakeholders might like to see metrics about engagement with folks whose work is also funded by the NIH.
@Julian Gautier What is the correct date April 14 or 15. The RSVP link has April 14.
I think what's on the RSVP link is wrong and it should be April 15. I'll try to help get that RSVP fixed. Thanks for the heads up!
Okay, the page RSVP page was updated. Webinar's still on April 15
Hi everyone! This webinar is just seven days away.
If you manage a repository that uses the Dataverse software, would like to join and haven't signed up to join yet, sign up at https://support.dataverse.harvard.edu/event/introduction-metadata-dataverse-repositories-installation-administrators.
Hi again! Just a final reminder that this webinar is less than a day away!
If you manage a repository that uses the Dataverse software and you'd like to join but haven't signed up yet, sign up at https://support.dataverse.harvard.edu/event/introduction-metadata-dataverse-repositories-installation-administrators.
After the talk, probably within the week, the recording and slides will be available from DataverseTV.
Thanks again to all the folks that attended!
The slides I used are at https://dataverse.org/presentations/introduction-metadata-dataverse-repositories-installation-administrators. They have the links I mentioned during the webinar, including a working survey link on the last slide.I or a colleague will update this thread (and the thread in the Google Group) with a link to the recording when that's ready.
Last update I promise! The video recording is on YouTube now. Thanks Dwayne for making that possible.
And all the links are now on DataverseTV.
