For teaching purposes, I've been using an example dataset in the Qualitative Data Repository (”Marine Corps Organizational Culture Research" https://doi.org/10.5064/F6K4IVEP). The basic idea is for participants to look at certain elements of FAIR for this dataset (metadata, access conditions, reuse license, etc.).
Previously, the easiest way to find this dataset (just from its title) was to use Google Dataset Search. Now, it is not findable there anymore. However, it can be found using e.g. regular google and DataCite Commons. Very confusing...
I know that there have been discussions about Google Dataset Search being a big mystery - does anyone have an idea what is going on there? The change must have happened some time within the last half year.
Hmm, Jim and Sebastian would know best. Can you please ask at https://groups.google.com/g/dataverse-community ?
