Hello there!

We have a dataset published with its respective DOIs in a version 5.13, I need to migrate this dataset to a new installation with version 6.3. What process can be done to make the dataset work correctly with its configuration in the new Dataverse installation?

Version 6.3 is on a RHEL 9.4 with PostgreSQL 13.16 database engine and version 5.13 is on a RHEL 9.2 with PostgreSQL 13.11 database engine.

I appreciate your help

Hi! If you're ok with only having one version of the dataset in the new system, maybe you could try this:

Sorry, I am waiting for the answer, I still don't understand, where to find the TOKEN API? Thank you for your help.

There is no token API.

Are you looking for your API token?

Yes, o I understand from the attached image that there is an API TOKEN.

Yes. Here's how to get a token: https://guides.dataverse.org/en/6.3/api/auth.html#how-to-get-an-api-token

When it says “click on your account name in the navbar”, it is from the url of our dataverse, with the administrator user, is it correct?

Yes, exactly.

Hello there!

We successfully performed the migration of the project, but when performing the download option in 'MS Excel Spreadsheet' throws the following error '{“status”: “ERROR”, “code”:404, “message”: “Datafile 18: Failed to locate and/or open physical file.”}'. Could you tell us what we are missing in the migration or help us mitigate this error.

I appreciate your help.
